Evil Genius - Catherine Jinks This was good. In the end I liked the premise a tiny bit more than the execution, but it was good. It could have been trimmed by about a third, there was a lot of explaining what the protagonist's thought process during situations when it was very clear what his thought process would be. Also there were way too many characters. Even at the end I was still not sure who Terry was.

But it's clever and a neat story and in a small way it was like Harry Potter written from the perspective of Malfoy. Except not quite, because there's no Harry Potter character. So never mind. But still, a book about the young life of an evil genius is something that is still something very much up my alley.
