It was good. I kind of skimmed parts of it. I just have this thing about descriptions of landscapes. It's a very slight story and I'm sure I won't remember what it was about in 2 months (note to self: young girl confronts darkness both literal AND metaphorical). It's not a book with a lot of peaks and valleys, so I can't get super excited about it. Some mild stuff happens and then it's over. But it's a very cool world the author is piecing together and I shall read the next one next.
