I suddenly need to read as much Octavia Butler as possible. I get the same excitement from her that I got when I first discovered Vonnegut-complicated ideas presented in a way that makes total sense, causing you to wonder why you didn't think this way all along. OK not a great description but you know what I mean.
The part where Lilith starts to question whether she's on Earth or on the ship kind of blew my mind. Is there a difference? Maybe humans should be questioning that same thing? The planet is the ship, right?
I wasn't in love with where it ends but I get why she makes the break there. Definitely reading the next one in the series.
