There Once Lived a Woman Who Tried to Kill Her Neighbor's Baby - Ludmilla Petrushevskaya, Keith Gessen, Anna Summers I liked this. Modern fairy tales, but in a style that's feels faithful, traditional, in the way the tale meander, end abruptly, or leave you in a place where you're not sure how you got there. Curious to read other stuff by the author.
