At Home: A Short History of Private Life - Bill Bryson I like this OK but I need to take a break. It's a lot of information and he does this thing where he tells you where he's going to end up, and then starts sooooo far back in history you're like "How are we ever going to get there." I end of focusing more on how he's writing the chapter and connecting the threads then on the content of what he's actually writing. Also there's something about his infinite pigpile of facts that renders it impossible to recall what you learn in any chapter. Not that you need to recall any of it, who cares as long as it's fun to read at the time. But you'd like to think an exercise like this would leave you a bit smarter. Anyways I need a break from it.
